On a more serious note...

Just a little update on this past week for those who have been concerned. We did have quite scare on Tuesday, for those who didn't know Dylon had a seizure. It was so out of the ordinary because he has never had serious problems with his health. They believe that it was a febrile seizure which is caused by a sudden spike in their body temp. It was one of the scariest things I have ever witnessed. It really made me realize how we as parents aren't always going to have control of protecting our children. (You always hear that, but as infants and toddlers, you would think that you would be able to protect them a little more.) I of course am a wreck, I check on him all the time now after I put him down sleep to make sure everything is okay. Dylon seems to be doing much better now, despite the fact that he has 5 teeth all breaking through on the top right now, and his gums on the bottom are very swollen. In most cases the children do not have another recurrence. I'm praying the odds are in our favor, but only the Lord has control over this. We just have to rely on the Lord, he knows best and we just have to have faith that what ever trials come our way that we will get through and hopefully learn something from them in the process. I'm so grateful for this gospel that we have that can bring us so much peace in this crazy world.
